R. Wayne Koehler formed PAR Advisors in July 2009 to be the Community Development Corporation for multiple banks.  Wayne’s previous experience includes President of the Fifth Third Bank CDC from 2000 to 2009.  Wayne was hired by Fifth Third Bank in 2000 to start up their CDC, and during his 9-year tenure, he developed and led a team that grew the CDC to a $1 billion corporation, which earned Outstanding CRA Investment Ratings on each of its bi-annual CRA exams.  Prior to managing the Fifth Third CDC, Wayne was Vice President of Acquisitions for Bank One CDC and prior to that Vice President in the commercial division of Banc One Ohio Corporation.  Wayne has 15 years of CDC experience and 10 years of commercial lending/credit experience between Bank One and Fifth Third Bank. 

During the past nine years, Wayne managed over 300 investments totaling $1.4 billion in low income housing, historic and new market tax credit investments underwritten, approved, and closed. In 2007, Wayne wrote a New Market Tax Credit application which was allocated $100 million from the Department of Treasury Community Development Financial Institutions Fund.

 Wayne served on the boards of Great Lakes Capital Fund – a regional syndicator of LIHTC funds, Council for Rural Housing & Development in Ohio, and KHC – an allocatee of new market tax credits (NMTC).  Wayne has spoken on numerous panels regarding LIHTC investing, underwriting, CRA and NMTC across the country.  Wayne earned a MBA from Case Western Reserve University.

Carol K. Brubaker is Vice President of PAR Advisors and handles the day-to-day office management, accounting responsibilities and assists with underwriting.

Carol worked for National Westminster Bank USA (NYC) for 11 years as a Vice President in the Equipment Leasing Commercial Lending Group.  Carol managed a loan portfolio of middle market leasing companies.  She was responsibility for business development, loan agreement negotiations, credit analysis, and account maintenance. Prior to her involvement with PAR, Carol worked part-time at Home Depot in the Human Resources Department while raising her family.  Carol has a B.S. in Business and Economics from Lehigh University, Bethlehem, Pa. with a concentration in Finance and Accounting.
